2368496The album was recorded in one long day on April 4th 2009 at Cacophony Recorders in Austin TX. In keeping with the spirit of the event the album was tracked live, with virtually no corrections, revisions or additions.

This was made as a soundtrack to the 1924 Fritz Lang film Siegfried. Very lovely post-rock.

So they’re back. And no this is not a download link for it – it would be taken down in less time than it takes to listen to these four fucking epic songs. Instead, I’m urging you to buy the shit out of Cypress Dust Witch. I just listened to it the first time and know this is the beginning of a very one sided love affair where I’ll never feel content with the silence that comes after experiencing something so passionate and come back for more and more.
